Under 21A Hurling Final Tuesday 11th March in Sancta Maria, Ballyboden
Monday, 10 March 2014 00:00

The U21 Hurling A Championship Final against Kilmacud Crokes is on Tuesday night 11th March at 7-30pm in Sancta Maria, Ballyboden. This is the first time our under 21A hurlers have reached the final. We want to see a huge St Johns crowd out to support the team against our neighbours Kilmacud Crokes. It has the makings of a great night come along to cheer the lads on.

"Mid-Summer's Night: Strictly Come (Irish) Dancing."
Saturday, 12 April 2014 00:00

The Social Committee's big event of the Summer will be held in the clubhouse on Saturday 21 June 2014 at 8.00pm - Strictly Come Irish Dancing aka St. John's Ballinteer! We are looking for 8 (adult) volunteers who will compete with each other on the night. Each volunteer will have a mentoring session (in Irish dancing) once a week in the four week period running up to the event with the grand unveiling of their talents on the night itself. So if you have a friend who has a secret passion for Riverdance, nominate them! Or if that passion belongs to you, then nominate yourself! We are looking for volunteers from across the board, from the players, to the mentors, to the parents. So all you dark horses out there come forth from the shadows and step into the spotlight.

We ask that volunteers register with This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it no later than Friday, 23 April 2014 when a draw will take place to select the "lucky" eight contestants.
