The 2008 Girls ended their season with a ladies gaelic football blitz against St. Judes. Over 60 U10 girls played 3 matches in glorious sunshine providing a thrilling display of football skills for their many spectators.

BSJ football coach Morgan Goggins said: “We’ve been working on specific defensive skills with the girls over the last few months as well as aiming to perfect their solo, kicking with both feet and working the ball as a team. I’m delighted to see the way they have ended their season today”.

The girls take a break now from Go Games for the summer and will start back at the end of August.

Charlotte Brenner said: “This group of girls work hard on the pitch & at training and have become great friends off it. Always in good form they are a joy to coach at both camogie and football. As a group of mentors we are very proud of them and look forward to welcoming them back in September”
