There is plenty of football action this week to help your get over your post bank holiday blues with all teams in action at some point throughout the week.

Our Seniors are in Championship action this Thursday against St. Oliver Plunketts. They go into the game on a rich vein of form having had two great victories against Cuala and Noamh Mearnog last week and will be looking to bring their league form into the Championship. Plunketts also come into the match in good form having played four and won four in Division 1, so this promises to be a great match. The match throws in at 7:15 in Newcastle.

Our Junior A’s are in action twice this week playing tonight and on Sunday. Tonight they take on Thomas Davis in Kiltipper at 7:15 and it promises to be a tight game with both teams having won two from their first three games in the league – Ballinteer beating Ballyboden and Naomh Mearnog while Davis’ have beaten Na Fianna and Good Counsel. The Junior A’s also play on Sunday morning at 11am against Round Towers in Marley Park and will be looking to keep their unbeaten record going.

Our Junior B’s also have two assignments this week. After two great wins against Ballyfermot and Ballymun, they take on Erin go Bragh in Marley at 7:15 tonight. Erin go Bragh have played three and lost three so far this campaign. They also take on St. Margarets on Sunday morning in St Margerats at 11am.

The Junior C’s are in action on Sunday afternoon looking to kick start their league campaign taking on Croi Ro Noafa in Cornelscourt at 3pm. Croi Ro Noafa have won four from four so far this year.
