BSJ30 Final Celebration

Maria Kenny, Shauna Garvin and Laura O’Curry with their awards

As Ballinteer St Johns 30th Anniversary Year came to a close we felt it was only right to have an end of year event. This took place in the clubhouse on 20th December where over 150 members, mentors and friends turned out to close the year and to celebrate our five All Ireland Winners from the 2012 season.

The night was a great mixture of music, craic, food, some spot prizes which went down really well, club lotto and of course the presentation to our five All Ireland Winners.

On behalf of the BSJ30 committee I would like to thank everyone who contributed articles, photos, paper cuttings and stories which we captured on the website. If there is anything else out there feel free to send it in to the team and we will continue to publish. Along with the website the BSJ30 team organised a number of events throughout the year again we want to thank those who helped us make the events enjoyable and successful.

In conclusion Ballinteer St Johns is a testimony to the members and players over the past 30 years. You have all given generously of your time to make it a vibrant progressive club and an integral part of the Ballinteer and GAA community. We congratulate the club and members on a fantastic 30 years and we look forward to the 50th celebration in 2032.
