Ballinteer St John GAA Club has within its membership a vast array of talent which regularly graces stage and screen to widespread acclaim. Our members achieve recognition across the whole spectrum of the performing arts at local and national level. Ballinteer St Johns aims to support and encourage its members in the pursuit of excellence in their chosen disciplines by offering them the opportunity to gain experience by performing for the benefit of an appreciative audience within the club. At the same time those who have already achieved mastery in their field are afforded the opportunity to demonstrate their skills as a learning opportunity for those who would be motivated to improve and for the enjoyment of the membership generally.
The Cultural Committee will organise concerts and sessions when members, young and old, will be invited to perform in the Club to an audience who enjoy live entertainment of the highest quality.
Ballinteer St Johns endorses the GAA’s objective to actively support the Irish language, traditional Irish dancing, music, song, and other aspects of Irish Culture and invites its young members to participate in Scór na nÓg to that end.

Cúrsaí Gaeilge
An bhfuil cead agam dul amach go dtí an leithreas … Tá scamall sa spéir … Tabhair dom an cácá milis
Ba mhaith linn Ciorcal Comhrá a chuir ar bun ar oíche feiliúnach do dhaoine a bhfuil spéis acu a gcuid Gaeilge a chuir chun cinn i gcomhthéacs atá slán, sábháilte agus b’fhéidir greannmhar – le béim ar an gcraic. Má tá suim agat ina leithéid tapaidh an deis agus seol ríomhphost chuig Aodán ar an seoladh thuasluaite.
Is mian le Cumann Naomh Eoin tacaíocht a thabhairt do fhorbairt ár dteanga dúchais agus tá fáilte faoi leith roimh bhaill ar mhiste leo Gaeilge a úsáíd i dtimpeallacht an chumainn – ag imirt ar an bpáirc, ag comhrá le chéile … agus ag glacadh le corn tar éis comórtais a bhuachaint go h-áirithe.
Ciúnas … Bóthair … Cáilín … Bainne … An bhfuil cead agam dul amach go dtí an leithreas ?
