It was a bad night for the Junior A’s and B’s last night as both teams had tricky away day tasks against Castleknock and Liffey Gales respectively. The A’s were blown away in the first half of there game by a solid Castleknock team who were 10 points up at half time (1-08 to 0-01) with Johnny Quinn scoring Johns only point. A much better performance in the lads saw the lads score five more points, 2 for Colm O’Donnell, 2 for Shane Holland and 1 for Jack Gilligan but Castleknock kept tapping over frees and the match ended 1-14 to 0-06.
The Junior B team also had a tricky task against Liffey Gaels and unfortunately lost by 7 points 3-03 to 0-05. The goals in this game seemed to be the difference and the lads were unlucky not to come away with more.
