The U14 camogie team travelled to Marshalstown in Wexford on Saturday to take part in the inaugural Leinster Camogie Féile. It was a very enjoyable and successful day for the girls winning all 3 games in very warm conditions.
First off, we played the hosts and following a tight first half pulled away to win 7-06 to 2-04. Next up was Glynn/Barntown and again following a slow start the girls pulled away in the end to win 3-03 to 0-01. Last up were our neighbours St Judes. This time the girls started brightly getting some excellent team scores and had a strong lead at half time. They didn’t let up and it finished 4-07 to 1.01 leaving the girls unbeaten for the day. Well done to all the girls on a super performance!
