Scor na nOg

On Tuesday evening Ballinteer St Johns stormed through the south Dublin semi-final of Scór na nÓg in Lucan Sarsfields to next week’s county final in Craobh Chiaráin.

Soon-to-be Minor footballers and hurlers Robert Aherne, Fionn Doherty, Enda Larkin and Andrew O’Connor have represented St Johns with distinction, (and Dublin too – Rob and Enda), over the years since they first came to BSJ at the age of 5, ( or 4 in Andy’s case – wish him a happy 16th next time you see him !). This time they have teamed up to perform as a Ballad Group and have wowed their first audience since coming together for the first time on 27th October. Coached by Gráinne Larkin, herself a BSJ, Dublin and Leinster Scór champion, the lads’ performance received rave reviews.

Enda also goes through to the Dublin county final in the Solo Singing to be held next Tuesday, 27th Nov, at 7.30 PM in Craobh Chiaráin (Parnell Park). Please support them and wish them well.
