Senior Hurlers make Championship Semi Final

On Senior Hurling team made it through to the championship semi-final on Saturday evening with an impressive victory over local rivals St. Olafs. They won the match 1-13 to 0-07. It was a very scrappy match with the pitching digging up very early on because of the weather which didn’t make for great hurling but that didn’t stop Ballinteer. Fearghal Chambers, Joe Maher and Colm Morrisey played crucial parts in the forward line while Jame Gilligan had a solid game in midfield after taking over from the frees when Joe Maher went off injured. They now will face the winner of the replay between Erins Isle and Raheny.
